Brian is a highly skilled professional commercial photographer experienced in photographing and lighting a variety of subjects in studio and on location. With the aid of years of professional retouching experience, he can complete projects from concept to delivery. A creative problem solver, Brian possesses strong technical knowledge and dedication to deliver impactful, marketable, high-quality imagery for his clients.

His passion for art began at a young age as he enjoyed drawing scenes depicting his action figures in various stages of combat. The desire and ability to be creative led to a degree in Visual Communications and Photography from Towson University, which was complimented by a study abroad program at Lorenzo de’ Medici Art Institute of Florence where he studied Italian Renaissance Art History and Film Photography.

Brian’s professional journey started with a decade long career in graphic design where he gained valuable expertise in visual aesthetics which directly translate to the art of photography. After years of photographing family, friends, and other subjects of interest, he was able to turn his passion for photography into his career in 2013, taking on professional roles in commercial photography, photo retouching, and creative direction. These roles gave him the opportunity to work with many brands and travel across North America, working in many exciting and challenging locations, from sewage treatment plants to remote snow-covered mountains in British Columbia. He has been awarded gold and silver American Advertising Federation Awards for his work featured in national and global advertising campaigns.

Currently he lives just north of Baltimore, with his beautiful wife, two wonderful children, and a cute but mouthy Miniature Schnauzer. Besides his love for photography and family he also loves Star Wars, hot sauce, and ice-cold beer.
